According to a legend, that beauty was discovered by sea nymphs
as well, that wheel danced on the white sand sands of Artina and
scattered pearls there, but today a song rings, with the hum of
the sea, a guitarresounds within the “SIRENA” camping.
This camping is a real tourist pearl, a
place for rest and pleasure, an ecological oasis of peace and
quietin the heart of Dalmatia, in Lokva Rogoznica.
Lokva Rogoznica is small lively place,
inhabited since 1231, at the foot of the stone heights in the
territory of the Gorica settlement. Already since 1235, Lokva
Rogoznica has had social life, which is evidenced by the Lokva
Code- Statute of the Omiška Rogoznica Municipality ( composed
in Latin on 5th April, 1235 ).
The “SIRENA” camping covers the surface of over 17000
m2, so that it can host up to 220 campers. It is only 26 Km away
from Split.
Along with the beautiful scenery and pleasant shades of a pine
forest, a beautiful beach, the crystal and warm sea, the proverbial
kindness of the hosts with the adequate infrastructure, the guests
are
offered the following:

The “ Artina” beach is specious,
of an exceptional beauty, romantic. It is compared to Zlatni Rat
of Bol.The ambience of southern part of campsite is particularly
attractiveto thos in love,and on its
eastern part, there is a small port and a place suitable for volley-ball.
Each year “FISHERMEN’S NIGHTS”
are traditionally organized,with a rich cultural-entertaining
program and the renowned names ofe the Croatian show business.
Tourist trip to Dubrovnik, Medugorje and to islands (Brac, Hvar,
the Kornati..) are organized from the camp Nature lovers will
find the scenery challenging engough..
The
climb to the church of St.. Vid built betwen 13th and 14th century,
which is sitated at 639 m above the sea level, is particularly attractive.
And there is other monumental heritage ( the church of St. Kuzma
and Damjan, and church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Assumption,
etc.). In this wonderful ambience and beauty,the nature and the
